Description

This course equips participants with the skills and knowledge required to excel as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a SAFe® environment. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of these key roles and their impact on driving value delivery within the Agile Release Train (ART).

The course combines in-depth theory with hands-on exercises, enabling participants to confidently manage backlogs, refine Features and Stories, and plan and execute Iterations and Program Increments. It also covers collaboration techniques with Solution Managers and Epic Owners to align strategy and execution across the enterprise.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Apply Lean thinking to decompose Epics into Features and Stories.
  • Manage Program and Team backlogs to maximize value delivery.
  • Understand the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps culture.

Upon course completion, participants will be eligible to take the SAFe® POPM exam to earn their certification, validating their expertise in the SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager roles.
